She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised on the east coast of the United States.
She completed her undergraduate work at Howard University in Washington, DC and earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.
She completed her Pediatric Dental residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey.
She believes that if children have positive experiences at the dentist from an early age, they will continue to make their oral health a priority into adulthood.
She loves the challenge of changing the perception of a child who may come into a dental office with apprehension and replacing that with enthusiasm and a sense of accomplishment.
She enjoys travelling, discovering new restaurants, shopping, photography, and gardening.
